Summer Session of Skating lessons will run July 8, 2019-Aug 19, 2019, from 6-7pm.
September Session of skating lessons will run Sept 9, 2019 - Oct 21, 2019, from 6-7 pm. Online registration for the September session is now OPEN!.
Fall Session of skating lessons will offer classes on Saturdays (12:20-1:50pm) from Nov 2 thru Dec 14, and on Mondays (6-7pm) from Nov 4 thru Dec 16. Online registration will be open in early October.
Skating Lessons are appropriate for ages 4 thru adult, beginner to advanced skaters. Session consists of one hour/week for 7 week. Each week will include a 30 minute small group lesson and 30 minutes of independent practice time. Cost is $99.
Entry Level Programs 2019-20
Thinking of Starting Hockey in the Fall? Our entry level programs begin in Oct and November. All new participants should have had at least one prior session of skating lessons. See above for information about our September/October session of skating lessons. More details and online registration will be available in September. Our Entry level programs include:
Intro to Hockey Ideal for ages 5 and 6 with no prior hockey experience. Full gear is required, however we do have limited quantities of loaner gear which can be borrowed. You must provide hockey skates, stick, and helmet with face mask. Completion of one or more sessions of skating lessons is required before participation. Program meets at 10 am on Saturday mornings at SCRF with Coach Walter Peretti, from mid November thru February. USA Hockey membership required.
Mini-Mites Ideal for ages 6 and 7 who have taken Intro to Hockey or have had other equivalent prior hockey experience. Full gear is required, however we do have limited quantities of loaner gear which can be borrowed. You must provide hockey skates, stick, and helmet with face mask. Program meets at 8:50 am Saturdays at SCRF and at 8am on Sunday mornings at UN ION from November thru February. USA Hockey membership required.
Rec Hockey for ages 9-13. A beginner and advanced beginner program for skaters age 9-13. Must have had at least one prior session of skating lessons and must be able to skate forward and stop independently. Full gear is required. Program meets once per week, 4-5:15pm on Sundays from the end of October thru February at Union College with Coach Brianne Brinker. USA Hockey membership required.
